Level 2 ASP electrician in Bathurst, Orange and the Central West
New connections, service upgrades and metering on the Essential Energy network, done by the same team that wires your job.

What a Level 2 ASP does
In NSW, only an Accredited Service Provider can work on the connection between your property and the electricity network. A Level 2 ASP handles the part your regular electrician can’t: the service mains, the point of attachment and the meter. Central Connex Electrical is Level 2 accredited, so we can take a job from the pole or pit right through to the switchboard and final fit-off.
Level 2 work we do
- New service connections for new homes, sheds, granny flats and commercial sites
- Overhead service connections, including replacing old or damaged service lines
- Underground service connections and consumer mains from the pit or pillar
- Single-phase to three-phase upgrades for workshops, EV chargers, pumps and larger homes
- Meter installation and relocation, including meter boxes moved during renovations
- Disconnections and reconnections so other trades can work safely
- Temporary builders’ supplies for construction sites
- Private poles and crossarms on rural and acreage properties
Why use one contractor for both sides of the meter
When the ASP and the electrician are different businesses, your job waits on two schedules and two sets of paperwork. With us it’s one booking, one point of contact and one invoice. We lodge the connection paperwork with Essential Energy and coordinate the network side for you.
Builders and developers
We work with builders across Bathurst and Orange on new connections, temporary supplies and full electrical packages. Get us involved early and the service connection is ready when the house is.

Do you work on rural private poles?
